Date Night Ideas & Lookbook: Valentine's Day
I’m so excited to start this series on one of my favorite holidays! My fiance and I usually have a date night at least once a week whether it be going out to eat, having a DIY spa day, or going for a picnic. I’ve been waiting until Valentine’s Day to debut a blog series where I’ll be combining date night outfits with date night ideas! For example, I’ll share what outfit I for go-carting or skydiving or dinner and a movie. I love Valentine’s Day (and practically every other holiday)! I love any excuse to get dressed up and celebrate! So I took the opportunity to style a few date night outfits for the most romantic holiday there is!
This flirty sundress paired with floral heels is a fun twist on the typical girly Valentine’s Day look. Instead of going with the typical pink pink and pink all over ensemble, I opted for this thrifted mini dress that sways and flows with every movement. The floral block heels add a touch of femininity and make legs look miles long!
Date Ideas: Dance Classes, Picnic, Fly a Kite, Fruit Picking, Botanical Gardens
To make the previous look a bit more edgy, I styled it with a black leather jacket and super tall stilettos. I’m not a fan of jewelry but I’m sure a statement necklace would really make this outfit pop! The combination of black and red gives a sexy yet edgy vibe to the outfit.
Date Ideas: Galentine’s Day Party/Dinner, Anti-Valentine’s Day Party/Dinner, Night Club
I styled this super comfy outfit with stretchy high waist jeans and a fuzzy off shoulder sweater for the chill ladies out there. Whether you’re vegging out with your significant other or just going for a walk with your friends, this outfit is comfy, casual, and cute.
Date Ideas: Dinner and a Movie (you know those movie theaters get cold), Drive-In Movie, City Tour, Bike Ride, Netflix and Chill, Ice Skating, Museum, Stargazing
Outfits one and two were styled by fellow fashionista, Vanessa Miranda. She blesses my Instagram feed with style, sass, and glam every single day! When I imagined a glamorous outfit, she was the first person to come to mind!
Outfit three was inspired by makeup artist and glam queen, Amra Olević. She takes glamorous to a whole new level. When I styled this outfit, I thought “What would Amrezy where for date night?” I paired an off the shoulder blouse with a body hugging midi skirt to create a sexy, sassy look.
Date Ideas: Drinks and Dinner, Jazz Bar, Wine Tasting, Broadway Show
Sometimes, you just want to stay at home and cuddle! I styled this matching pajama set with fuzzy slippers and a customized sleep mask from Etsy for a comfy night in.
Date Ideas: Indoor Camping, DIY Spa, Netflix and Chill, Dessert Cook-off, Galentine’s Day Slumber Party, Staycation
What will you be doing on Valentine’s Day? And what will you be wearing???
