Zeraca Swimwear Lookbook

Springer (Spring + Summer) has arrived here in sunny Florida! With afternoon highs in the 90s and evening lows in the 60s, us Floridians are slapping on our swimsuits and soaking up the sun.  One advantage to living in a tropical climate with a lack of seasons: I get a head start on all of the swimwear trends! Follow along as I walk you through how to wear this year’s hottest styles.

One Piece Swimsuits

The ever-present one piece got a stylish revamp. With the revival of the swimwear classic, this year’s one pieces feature plunging necklines, open backs, and ultra-high hip lines. I love this trend because it highlights the curves of my hips and legs while covering my stomach (give me a few more months on these summer abs - haha). Skinny or thin, short or tall, a one piece should be a part of your swimsuit wardrobe this summer!

Although I was a bit hesitant to approach this style, I am glad I took the risk. After all, if you’ve got it, flaunt it. The thongkini gives my booty a plumper look and a more even tan line (yes, black girls suntan too). If you are on the fence about thongkinis, test out your comfort zone with a cheeky whale tail bikini bottom then work your way up to the thongkini.

The Colors of the Sun (Red, Orange, Yellow)

Burnt orange, bright red, and yellow are once again making a return to swimsuits. Something about the classic hues of the sunset truly captures the feeling of summer. I love this suit because it’s multicolored and vibrant without being too busy.

What swimsuit trend are you excited to try this summer?
